Thank you.  The hardest thing to do is that one must really work on their city on an almost sim height (like 6 feet from the ground) so that you see what your players are going to see in the game,   This let's you do the landscape texture to make it so that when the player is playing down close to their sim they are seeing stuff that is visually interesting.  If it's all just green grass everywhere it's really quite boring to look at.

A closer up view of my mountains, as you can see though, my texturing leaves a lot to be desired.

Yep, will do.  Apparently TS3 world exchange is borfed up the ying yang and it's a crapshoot whether or not somebody can upload their world to it or not.  Personally, I have a feeling it has to do with the size of the world as to whether or not it will accept the upload and is crapping all over those that are over about 15MB or so.

I've tried to upload my last world but it wouldn't take it so I gave up and now just use sites like mediafire or maybe it's mediashare  which is where this one will go too once it's finished.

I'm finally into the stage of creating and or adding the actual buildings to the lots.  This is far more time consuming than creating the landscape in the world.  What I've found from people on the TS3 forums is that they "want" worlds that are already completely filled with houses and commercial buildings rather than have some empty lots so that they can build their own houses on them.  I find this very strange, strange indeed that they would rather that somebody else place a house on a lot for them rather than do it themselves and get what they want in the town.

The only thing I can think of is that they want to [*******] and moan that they don't like the houses that were placed in the world for them.  I've pretty much given up trying to please others at TS3 site, one person wants all rabbit holes, other people only want the key rabbit holes, some folks want all lots already built, others want all empty lots, some want all lots built on but wants a 60x60 lot so they can play a legacy family (what ever the hell that is) and others... Well you get the idea.

I now forth with only build to please myself, and if anybody else ends up liking it, then that's the icing on the cake.  Laughing
