It must be really popular in Japan because over here it's hard to scare up any fans of A-Train 8.  I bought A-Train 8 but only found like one site and it's forums never get posted to.  It's a decent enough game really, can be enjoyable if you like railroad type management games.

It looks nice.  I just loaded up A-Train 8 to give it another go, and got all funstrated in trying to make it so that 2 trains can run on one track using rail outlets for lack of the real name - where you have a track and it branches of to a side track so that trains can pass each other, and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to properly schedule a transport train and a passenger train on the same line.  I grew a bit weary of having to place multiple lines and multiple stations one for each train, it got to be very expensive and very messy looking.

Perhaps if 9 has better ways of organizing and routing my trains I might go for it, but they'll also have to give us the full version this time, and what I mean is that we will have to get all the trains and features that the Japanese version has before I give them anymore of my money.  It really was a bit of a rip on the consumer that they watered the game down to only 50 train selections outside of the Japanese version.

from different places I order mine from  a place in california and it cost me
$ 152.00  i will have it in a in a week
the a-train 9 website has been upadted since release date of 2/11/10
