I think they need Banks in the game for me to rob or something..    ..my character isn't handsome enough to get any Loans for sure.

Know what you mean.  I think it cost me around 120,000 for the last armour I bought  Crying  Laughing

Found any teleport stones?

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

 Suprised  120K..to spend on armor..wooowee!!

I got up to 50k once... and ran out of stuff to sell.  Got greedy when I saw some chests in a cave...which also was a cave full of Ogres.  Bad idea..  Looking around cautiously

Yep I have 2 tele-stones..but they are hard to use when you are flat on your back... hehe  Sticking Tongue Out

I finally got my sword sharpening skills up.. boy was I tired of using "worn" blades.   Crying

I am so pleased you are persevering with Gothic  Thumbs Up
The more I played the more I enjoyed it.  It sort of got to the point where hours just went and weekends and evenings were taken up and my partner had to drag me kicking and screaming from the house to get a dose of real life  Laughing.  (aside from going to work that is).
Now when I crank up the game and hear the intro music it's like..."coming home"...I know quite pathetic really   Soapbox Speech with tape across mouth Big Smiley Grin Laughing.  Actually it is that same cool feeling when I start up the Thief games and the ambience sounds stirs the feeling of stealth/mystery and curiosity of the unknown.  Hope you can understand what I mean ...

Of course I know what you mean RhiannOn ..I've been fussin' and frettin' over my lil peeps since Caesar III.. how much yellow grass they had..to untold hours in the Guild and even Two Worlds had me going massive amounts of playing hours.  It is easy to get wrapped up into the progression of a character you've "built".. sort of makes it personal.

I suppose the same things you've become familiar with in Gothic..I've done the same in others like Two Worlds, where the character is commenting on the weather and enemies that resemble his in laws etc.. that makes for a good playing atmosphere.

In Gothic.. I'm mostly concerned about staying alive.. only the long nights give me a break..that is IF I've have a Safe place to spend the night.  I always try to get back to a friendly place if I can.  wink
