I found it rather funny, I just got my 72 hour suspension from the EA Sims 3 website.  Why, Read below the message that I posted UNDER MY OWN ACCOUNT, NOT SOME FALSE ACCOUNT:

Somebody asked a question like "where can I find the ******* for the toddlers"?  The EA forum censored out what ever harmless word the person had originally wrote.  People were having fun with all kinds of joking responses and so I wrote what they listed below

Your Electronic Arts account has been suspended for 72 hours for violating the Electronic Arts Inc Terms of Service. We believe that the violation or behavior is serious enough to suspend your access to the service.

Violation:

Dear Member,

We're sorry but your post makes no sence due to over zealous censorship.

Please try your message again at a later time, no refund will be issued, cancellation is impossible, our staff has been notified, the mac and cheese you sent was yummy, but it hurt our tummy.

Thank you for calling, have a nice day.

Gave me a good chuckle.  Guess I can go play Dawn of Discovery now unfettered with the hundreds of emails that I get from thread notifications on their Sims 3 forums.

I've been having fun while staying away from there, I just wish they would actually stop all services to me, I still get all those emails every day, and still get a couple new friend requests each day too.  Since I can't reply to any of them, and can't approve the friend requests it's just annoying getting them.

Yeah, that simcity 4 site (sc4devotion) banned me for like 3 or 4 weeks once while I was all hot and heavy into building new buildings for SimCity 4.  When I returned some folks messeged me asking what was going on because they thought I would have released my buildings by this point, I told them, and walked away clean, never been back since.  There loss, they were really nice buildings

Well, I forgot to write the follow up to this.

I appealed the banning to EA, and they sent me an email apologizing profusely for the mistake and that the ban had been reversed and that it really should never have happened to begin with.

Funny more that it took me 24 hours to appeal it, took them 24 hours to think about it, and 24 hours to over turn the ban.  All told 72 hours to appeal and overturn it, which was the same time they banned me for in the beginning anyway.

Gutter snipes.  As it turns out to my suspicions, it took another user to "report" me for my post for them to take action on it, so if you cruise over there watch your step, some of the folks over there seem sweet as apple pie but are cut throats since they don't have to face you and would just assume spit on you as say hello.

Yep the internet sure can make people "big and tough" when not face to face.  Seen it heaps and heaps of times in gaming and has been directed at me a lot also as being a female gamer in the first person shooter scene.  Has quietened down in the last two to three years tho, maybe there are more female gamers about now.
So you can download content from the exchange now?  There are quite a lot of nice recoloured items available.

Khalan, yep, CBs smite total is a thing of beauty!  All courtesy of one rather disturbed indivudal who couldn't handle an opposing point of view on ANYTHING, let alone games!
