Hi

Here is a link to download the sunset valley map that has had all the residential houses removed from it.

What's the point you might be wondering?  Simply to save anybody the time of having to remove all the houses themselves for anybody that wants the sunset valley map clean of residential buildings.  Might be for the person that wants total control over the houses that appear on their map (like me) or use it as a construction zone where you don't have to bother with the developers idea of good sims getting in the way (like me) or a multitude of other reasons.
SORRY, HAD TO REMOVE THE LINK AS BIGUPLOAD .COM WENT TO ADULT ADVERTISING.  Funny because they said they didn't take adult oriented content, and now their advertising adult stuff.
Aprox size: 10MB

I've uploaded it to bigupload.com and never used them before, so please scan file for any nasties before opening it just to be safe.  I've redownloaded it myself and done this and it is clean but for your and my peace of mind just scan it with your own virus scanner to be certain.

If I knew of a faster host then I'd put it there, bigupload seems to start out at about 127KB/sec and eventually drop down to about 65k/sec so maybe some patience is needed.  My apologies, I don't want it hosted on this site as I know how much bandwidth some sims resources can suck down once simmies get wind of where a file is stored.

Simply unzip and put it in your /my documents/ea games/the sims 3/saves folder then start game, and load it up as you would any other saved game.  Fill with your own houses and your own sims for a truly custom town/neighborhood.

Enjoy.
