And 1701 A. D.  at the same time.  Guild 2 it turns out is what I've been looking for for a long time.  I haven't even installed 1701 yet! Usually when I buy multiple games I install them all and can't wait to get my grubby hands all over them.  But I'm fixated on Guild 2.  The interface and controls and graphics are amazing.  Even when you're not doing anything in-game it's a nice experience. 
But this got me wondering why Guild 2 does not have it's own section? Is it because it's primarily a strategy game?

It used to, but it was moved over to the forums at MGF...since at its heart its an RPG w/ city builder and strategy elements, it's been put here...

Thanks pad.  I registered over at mgf (or atleast I think I did).  lol when you know what you're doing Guild 2 is an rpg  .  When you don't know what the hell you're doing it's a strategy game! When I think of rpg's I think of Oblivion, where you don't really multitask.  Then again, the hardcore World in Conflict players don't think WiC is a strategy game but rather a tactical game. 
Do the online Guild 2 games play like strategy games? Are there still online games?

You know, I never did any online games...Max (who hasn't been around in a while due to health issues) used to...so I'm not sure!  The game's AI is pretty smart, playing the single player game can be as challenging as you want, particularly if you ramp the difficulty up!
