Hi, could you please recommend a nice city builder for me?
I prefer playing games with an economic campaign, where I can almost forget about the military aspect.  I play these games for relaxation, so I kind of like sandbox gameplay.  My favorite city builder is Zeus :)
You can see the other ones I have already played in my profile.
Thanks :)

Hi,

I would recommend Imperium Romanum Gold...the game is fairly easy and very relaxing (there are only two timed-mission which you don't have to play). The military aspect is fairly basic like in Civcity:Rome.

Cheers

Hello and Welcome

I think you've played all the CB games that I'd recommend for their economic bits and pieces.  While waiting on both Grand Ages: Rome (due out in about 17 days in the U.S. other countries, not sure) and or Cities XL (3rd quarter 2009), I've gone back to playing Simcity 4 again, as well as some other hybrid CB/fantasy type games, but to me SimCity 4 still has the most economic challenges, even though the challenges are wholy what you create in your own head (i.e have all green roads while still maintaining a budget).  Many people whom still play SimCity 4, no longer play with any financial challenge to it, but to me that's one of the largest enjoyments of playing SimCity 4,

Anyway, if IR doesn't catch your fancy, then it looks like it might be time to do some more replay of what you've already played, especially any of those games that allow you to create your own goals, and or have map editors where the other players have created some really nice economic scenarios created for them.  Might want to see what users created for the Settlers IV game, that one could have some nice eco scenarios built for it.

Thanks for the big reply, City Builder :)

I guess I'll try Imperium Romanum for now and after that I'll probably go back to Settlers, I really haven't played it for a while.
