Has been released by Tilted Mill...I haven't purchased it yet as I'm knee deep in The Guild: BttR stuff, but it looks very interesting for us Indie game fans!

 Hello and Welcome  pat!!

I've tried to locate this TM game (Mosby's Confederacy). Apparently it isn't on Disc release...so I suppose I will miss playing this one.  Add it to Alexandria and several other interesting titles that are DL offers only...it adds up.

Also if I would like to report that our (my Son's 4 stores at least) Gamespot outlets have been given the go ahead to retail Oblivion with all the the expansions on two DvDs for under $20..instore coupon can get to $14.95..not a bad deal if your original copy has a lot of mileage already...hehe I figure yours might..?   Laughing

Hope you are keeping warm and well entertained   Smiley Blink

Hmmm,

Looks like they got the zoom level right on Mosby's Confederacy (unlike in Hinterland).  I'll have to see if there is or will be a demo for this, as (no offense to those that liked Hinterland) but to me Hinterland felt like I'd been bent over the table and not even had the courtesty of being offered som KY. (Yes, I know Barfing )

Im not opposed to buying digital anymore, in fact other than the xbox 360 games, I've been buying all digital lately, it really is proving to be easier for me to do so, and after I got over the mindset of worrying about what's going to happen 10 years down the line when the etailer is no longer in business and I want to play the game, it became easier once I realized that out of all the really old titles that I have here, theres really very few that I want to actually replay 10 years later (unlike Max whom I think plays all of his stash of games no matter if they are 2 days old, or 20 years old.

Hi Max, hope your doing well.  Hello and Welcome

Oh yeah, so with TM owning their Nile game (mental fart here, can't remember the name at the moment), is this title using the same game engine or same graphics engine?  The images as seen on wargamer make me wonder if it's using a modified engine of the same as the nile game, Wargamer sort of critisizes the graphics in this title, but says they are usable, but won't impress a 13 year old nephew or niece.

I think Mosby's, like Hinterland, uses the Torque engine.  It's an interesting tactical game with a nice swath of history woven through it.  For 19.99, I enjoyed the hell out of it for a bit, but I'm playing CotN: Alexandria right now...(VERY hard campaign...).

Does anybody know what screen resolutions this allows for, Im really not in the mood to buy another 1024x768 screen resolutioned game.  From now on out it's 1680x1050 or nothing (until I save up for the next monitor which will be the 1920x1080 or 1080p)

Also, it's on sale with impulse for $13.99 right now (Mosby's Confederacy, that is).  If it supports my screen rez I may pick it up, if nothing else I can spend a couple hours bashing and harping on it's shallow points on the TM forum (assuming it has shallow points that is Laughing wink )
