If you buy it, please tally up the new buildings and see how many of them there really are.  I mean you know we have like 3 of dream houses and 4 types of this, that and the other one, so if anybody gets it, please tally up how many new buildings there really are, i.e. not recolors of the same house (like the dream house).

Thanks,

I'm interested to know how the "sprawling theme parks" and the "pristine ski parks" actually work out.  If they managed to get different weather at different altitudes, or if ski snow parks can only be on a winter type of map, or if the low lands can have regular landscape and the mountains (which is where I would assume a ski park would go) can have snow landscape.

I gave in and downloaded it [would much prefer it on a CD Crying] and I am very pleased that I did  Thumbs UpBig Smiley Grin Laughing

Not had much time - but there are approx 11 new styles of home; 7 new workplaces and 140 new venues - plus the attractions... Thumbs Up

The new transport buildings are where the 'travellers' spawn from - they work similar to the way the subways and the bus-stops do in SimCity: Societies.

Some of the bigger 'resort' venues can only be placed on a mountain for the ski resort or a beach for the beach resort - so it depends on which map for a few of the buildings - not many about 4 or 5...

I would guess that if you enjoy SimCity: Societies - you will love Destinations Thumbs Up

 Hello and Welcome

How big is the direct download Pat?  As it only costs 29.95US (around $40.00NZ).

To buy destinations hard copy here, we have to fork out $99.95NZ  Flaming Mad and that includes SimCity: Societies with Destinations.  So it is too bad for us folk here in NZ who have already brought SimCity: Societies and all we want is the Destinations expansion to add.

Well, EA in NZ now have Destinations for digital download  Happy Dance and after seeing the great screenshots of Pats, I have gone and downloaded the expansion. I had a couple of connections drops but other than that all is working fine.
The Adventure category looks intriguing.  Oh well, off to have a play  Agreed Happy
