Have you ever found a video on youtube about a game that you are discussing and really want people to be able to see it.  Well, now they can and they don't need to leave our site.

Here's how it works (it's simple, in fact it couldn't be any simpler).

1. Go to the Youtube page that has the video on it.
2. Copy the address from the URL bar (you know, the thing that looks like http://www.youtube.com/bla bla bla bla etc)
3. Paste that address directly into your message where you want the video to appear.

If the readers of the thread can view Youtube videos they will be able to press the arrow on the Youtube still shot to view the video just like on so many other sites that embed you tube videos on them.

I hope you find this useful and enjoyable, I know that Lengo would have really appreciated it when he was making RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 videos, and now we have the technology.

Example:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/gOk5j-iGuTM&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/gOk5j-iGuTM&rel=1</a>

Above you see the youtube video, all I did was to paste in the youtube video url (without the code brackets like below)
Code:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOk5j-iGuTM

UPDATE: Our site uses anti spam protection, what this means is that if you are new any urls that you post get garbled so that they don't appear as a url at all, so if you are new you will have to wait until you have posted enough messages to overcome that, I believe it's been set to about 25 messages posted and after that then your urls work properly and thus this feature will work properly for you.  Since spammers usually do hit and runs (they sign up for an account and post one message) this number prevents them from spamming us with useless product advertisements through links.
Enjoy,
Adam, aka CB.

One thing however, I know our core users will be diligent about this.  If you find someone posting objectional material (videos that don't belong here, which might be "adult natured", snuff, animal cruelty, you know all the terrible things you can think of) then please immediately press the "Report to moderator" link that appears under every single post here and I will take appropriate action to remove the offensive material and take appropriate action against the user as I deem necessary.

Thank you,  It's with all of you that keep coming back here and keep an eye on the place that makes it possible that we can offer such features as this.

Update: This feature will also be added to the MGF site where I think it will be extremely useful sometime over the next day or two as time permits

I forgot to mention that if a user is a new user and is still under our set limit for spammer in post counts then it's not going to work and the url will still be garbled and this won't work.  I believe the minimum posts needed to post urls in a message is about 25 or so.
