 Hello and Welcome

I keep reading about once you liberate 3 Orc  towns, the Orcs will attack you in any of their other unliberated towns. Not once did the Orcs attack me after the 3rd town so i had to start the fight in each of their cities/towns.  I have now liberated the whole lot.  So I am questioning this whole 3 town limit thingie.    What I have also seen is the Orcs attacking the Hashishin in the Orc towns plus  3 Orcs attacking the Hashishin town Ben Sala in the desert, killing a number and I finished some stragglers till the town was liberated.   Those three orcs are buddy, buddy with me as their names are in green. (Their leader was killed).
I couldn't bring myself to kill the three orcs in Ben Sala in the end.  I did try for starters but they stayed my "friend" even after being knocked out number of times.

The only thing that may have possibly turned the game with Orcs fighting Hashishin, is that I liberated more than 3 Hashishin towns, as they definately started to attack me after the 3rd while I had only liberated one Orc town.

Anyhow,  it was great  the Orcs being friendly with me all the way thru as I could get to the roofs of structures in their towns without hassle and attack them from there....worked a treat  Thumbs Up  Laughing
Oh the Orcs names were no longer green, but had turned white (not red) after i had liberated more of their towns.

Does anyone have any ideas of this turn in the game with Orcs vs Hashishin? Could liberateting the 3 plus Hashishin towns to the orc one changed the game's direction this way?

  Hello and Welcome  Max
I found being first person easier than 3rd with this game. Seemed to get  more involved and  found it easier for fighting.  However the only draw back was that 180 degree turn when pilfering chests etc or when going to the map, you end up facing the other way when back in game.  I fixed this by going 3rd person before bringing up the map, looting chests etc   wink

I finished one of the game endings last night by supported Xardus.

A very, very enjoyable game with great graphics, storyline and where the land is so vibrant with such an assortment of vegetation/rocks/life etc and of course there's the changing weather.

Thumbs Up  Gosh RhiannOn...you make me wish so much that I played RPGs better than I do.. <snif>

First person..hehe I'm upsidedown or halfway through a wall or something most of the time.  I have to play 3rd person just to accommodate my viewing needs.. and frankly those Orcs aren't going to win any beauty contest any time soon either..  Sticking Tongue Out

Yes the graphics are very nice ..JoWood seems to have that part of their games in good working order.  Some players had problems running Gothic III.. pat!! seemed to do alright.. I didn't get far enough to find out.. Now I'm wondering if Gothic IV is still on for development?..

So now..are you already for some IR play...or not?... hope so.   wink
