The result... I thought it fixed it but it still seems to go to sleep every now and then from non use and then the scrolling with the mouse wheel is sluggish.  Im going to probably post to the microsoft forums one of these days and see if this is a known issue with the intelimouse drivers or just the mouse itself.  Since I've already cooked $140.00 on two of these mice it would be nice to figure out what makes it do this and see if there is a fix for it even if it means removing the intelimouse software for which I don't use any of the extras (like the extra 2 buttons) anyway.
